Vanessa Sidney-Richmond is Pou Whirinaki at Te Tihi o Ruahine Whānau Ora Alliance.

Vanessa has a social work background dedicated to working with whānau across Māori mental health, policy development and youth justice.  Her 15 years at Te Tihi o Ruahine Whānau Ora Alliance have fueled Vanessa's passion for the Whānau Ora approach and her fierce advocacy of the kaupapa.

This year Vanessa was a delegate at the fifth International Network of Indigenous Health Knowledge and Development Conference and presented on behalf of Te Tihi- Whānau Ora the Real Hauora hero.
