Teresea Olsen is the General Manager of Tākiri Mai te Ata Whānau Ora Collective & Kōkiri Marae Health and Social Services. Teresea descends from the founding whānau of Kōkiri Marae Health and Social Services in the, and over the past 40 years her vision has built Kōkiri Marae services into a major Māori services provider in the Hutt Valley.
Her leadership has inspired a workforce of committed people and supporters to contribute and build on this vision. She has won numerous awards in recognition of the primary and public health services delivered to the Kōkiri Marae whānau and community and for leading work during the Covid-19 epidemic to protect and promote the health and wellbeing of Māori whānau, hapū and iwi. Teresea also received the Queens Service Medal (QSM)for services to Māori Health
The support of Teresea and her team expanded to Tākiri Mai te Ata Whānau Ora Collective in 2010. Tākiri Mai te Ata now have 8 partner provider services and employes over 200 kaimahi.
