Ruby White is a Data Analyst for Horouta Whānau Ora Collective. Ruby started her journey with Te Rūnanganui o Ngāti Porou in 2018 in the Whānau Ora team as a Collective Impact Kaiārahi. She found it extremely humbling working with whānau supporting their needs and aspirations. This has been a rewarding experience for Ruby as she reflects on her own whānau values. Ruby completed the Whānau Ora Diploma with Waitech and WOCA, graduating in 2020.

Her keen eye for detail and system development, and an unwavering passion for helping others saw her transition into the enablement Team as a Data Analyst. She enjoys working alongside Horouta Whānau Ora partners and Kaiārahi. Ruby has high expectations for delivery and accountability in her own work maintaining the mana of the collective and all hapu across Tairāwhiti.  Ruby is passionate about collective impact ensuring that reporting approaches, as well as interconnecting systems and processes are fit for purpose and user friendly. Having played a significant role in the Covid19 response across the Tairāwhiti, she has demonstrated her adaptability and tenacity to get the job done, to lead when required, and to make sure that whānau are prioritised no matter what. Ruby is a valued member of the Horouta Whānau Ora team and has proven herself to be an asset to iwi going above and beyond her role expectations to improve the reach and success of Whānau Ora across the region.
