A seasoned leader in Kaupapa Māori and community development. With over 25 years’ experience in social services, health, education and economic development sectors he reflects a solid commitment to creating the conditions for whānau oranga to occur. Together with his wife Tatiana, have raised 7 tamariki and have 4 mokopuna. They create TikToks and deliver maramataka and maara kai wānanga towards kai sovereignty and self-reliance. Parris holds an Executive MBA along with diplomas in Social Services and Whānau Ora. He is currently the General Manager of Mana Ahuriri Trust where he advances strategic taiao, hapu, housing and commercial initiatives guided by his commitment to the philosophy and approach of Whānau Ora.
