Lee Colquhoun is from Ahipara in the Far North with whakapapa back to Te Tii Marae and Ngati Kawa on the East Coast. A graduate of Waikato University, Lee spent 15 years working in Australia and New Zealand in both the public and private sector, across a range of executive management roles, as well as owning his own repairs and maintenance business. For the past 5 years, Lee has been the Chief Operating Officer at Te Puna Ora o Mataatua, one of the largest regional Māori health, medical, social and employment providers in the country. A fierce advocate of Whānau Ora kaupapa, he leads a dedicated team providing multiple services through an integrated Whānau Ora approach. Focus areas include youth into employment, a new medical academy, and wraparound social services including an award winning Kaupapa Māori clinical and therapeutic counselling service Ngā Mata Wai Ora.
